Back at Kakariko Village
When you return to Kakariko Village, you find it in flames! You spot Shiek, by the well. He warns you to stay back and is tossed into the air by some creature. Link rushes over to help and unsheathes his sword for battle. He is thrown back as the monster hits him. When he regains consciousness, Shiek tells Link that the monster from the Bottom of the Well has escaped. Years ago, Impa sealed the monster there. He tells Link that Impa is one of the six sages and that she has gone to the Shadow Temple. She will need your help! Shiek will teach you the Nocturne of Shadow which warps you to the entrance of the Shadow Temple. Before entering, you need Din's Fire and the Lens of Truth. If you have not got Din's Fire, go back in time and bomb the boulder near Hyrule Castle. You must find the Lens of Truth in the Bottom of the Well. To get into the Bottom of the Well, you must have the Song of Storms. Play the Song of Storms as an child for the guy in the windmill. This will cause the windmill to spin quickly and drain all the water out of the well. Leave the windmill and enter the Bottom of the Well.
