Talon is gone now and Ingo runs the ranch. Talk to Ingo until he asks you if you want to ride a horse. Pay him 10 rupees but don't get on the horse provided. Instead, play Epona's Song and get on her when she comes to you. Ride around and jump the fences in the middle of the ranch for 5 rupees each. When your time is up, pay him again and play Epona's Song again. Get on Epona and talk to Ingo. He will challenge you to a race for 50 Rupees. Accept his challenge and race him around the course. If you beat him he will tell you that you can keep Epona if you win one more time. He is much harder the second time around so try to get in front of him and cut him off. If you do not beat him, you must pay him another 50 Rupees to try all over again. If you beat him the second time, he will tell you that you can keep Epona but you cannot leave the ranch ever again. Just jump over any of the fences around the ranch. Head to Kokiri Forest now. Save your game now that you have Epona! Enter the Lost Woods and go Right , Left, Right, Left, Straight, Left, Right. Go through the Sacred Forest Meadow and avoid the Moblins. If they see you, get out of the way because they'll charge at you!! Once through the Sacred Forest Meadow, go up the stairs and dodge the Giant Moblin and hookshot up to the platform and enter the Forest Temple.
