Inside Jabu-Jabu's Belly

The Search for Princess Ruto
When you enter Jabu-Jabu, some Octoroks pop up in front of you. Lock on to each one and reflect their rocks back at them. Avoid the bubbles floating around and use your Slingshot to hit the switch on the ceiling. This will remove the nerves blocking the door. Go through the door and you'll watch a small cut-scene where you find Ruto and she walks away. Although she wants no help whatsoever, you need to her to finish this dungeon. Follow her down the hole that she fell into. Talk to her again and she will finally let you carry her. What a privilege....NOT!

The Boomerang
Pick her up and head out through the door behind you. Avoid the Shaboms floating throughout this hallway. When you reach the room with the shallow water, jump in and throw Ruto up to the other side. Avoid the stingers if you can. If you step on the switch with Ruto, she'll disappear and you'll have to make your way back to the area where you found her! Then, hit the switch and get up yourself. A Gold Skulltula lies on the wall to your right in this room. Pick Ruto up again and continue down the hallway. Again, you must hit the switch on the ceiling to open the door here. As soon as you enter this room, set Ruto down on the small platform. Kill the Octorok by reflecting his rock back at him. You can dive through to the other side without fear of losing Ruto. On the other side, a Business Scrub sells Deku Nuts. Now go back to Ruto and pick her up. A platform is moving up and down here. When it comes down, jump on with Ruto in your hands. When you reach the top, jump to the ledge. Head through the door back to the central stomach area, where you found Ruto, and walk straight to the other side, avoiding the holes. Enter the door there. Go down the hallway farthest to your right. You'll find a switch that requires the weight of two people to activate it. With Ruto, you have enough weight to press it down. Enter this room and put Ruto down. Prepare to do battle with four stingers. Lock on to each one and it flies out of the water. Hit it once with your Slingshot and one more time about 2 seconds later. After you defeat each one, a large chest will appear with the Boomerang! Equip the Boomerang. Now you can take on the tentacles.

The Tentacles
Now, go to the doorway to your farthest left. Here, you'll find a switch that requires the weight to be kept on it. Set Ruto down while on the switch. You can leave her here without fear of her disappearing. In this room, a large tentacle swings from the ceiling. Lock on and throw your Boomerang at it. It will move up into the ceiling after hitting it once. Still locked on, move into the center of the room until the tentacle comes down to hit you. Throw the Boomerang at it again. After about four hits, it will die. The map appears in a chest after you defeat it. Leave this room and pick Ruto up again. Navi informs you that the tentacle to the north is gone and that you killed its "tail". Go down this hallway and enter the door there. Set Ruto down again and pop all the Shaboms within the time limit. Lock on and use the Boomerang on each one or run into them if your life is high enough. If you defeat them within the time limit, a chest appears holding the compass. Now head to the north room off the hallway to the farthest right. Enter the room and kill the tentacle in there just as you did the other. When you kill the blue tentacle, the northern hallway opens up. Head to the northern hallway, which is directly across from where you entered this area. In this room you will battle a green tentacle and five Biri. Take out the Biri first by locking on to each one and killing them with your Boomerang. Take out the tentacle and head back to the stomach area where you found Ruto.

Big Octo and Zora's Sapphire
You'll notice that the tentacle which was blocking the northwest hole is gone. Drop down the hole with Ruto and she'll scream with delight. She has found what she was looking for and she tells you to throw her up. Throw her on the platform and she tells you to get her out of here. Walk towards the platform and it raises up to the top. When the platform comes down, a giant Octorok jumps off! Lock onto it and throw your Boomerang at it to stun it. After stunning him, he will begin to spin around after a few seconds. Hit him again with the Boomerang and if you stop him with his back facing you, slash him! Keep doing this. After about four hits, he will die. When he is dead, climb onto the platform and you will be brought to the top. Princess Ruto is gone so make your way through the passageways to the platform that will bring you back to the main floor. First, you must kill another Octorok and stun two jelly-like blocks. Kill the Octorok the same way you did with the others. Hit each block to stun it and use them as a bridge to the other side. When the platform slides down, it connects with the first room of the dungeon. A switch lies to your right but it needs something to hold it down. Grab a box from the other side of the room and stand on the switch. Set the box down and go through the door. This room is filled with Biri. Kill them all with your Boomerang and climb the wall. A membrane is guarding a switch at the top so lock on to it and keep throwing your Boomerang until you trigger the switch. Jump down after hitting it and grab the Gold Skulltula on the wall too! Go through the door that just opened and you will battle the boss....Barinade!

Bio-Electric Anemone: Barinade
When you enter the boss arena, Link's eyes are drawn to the large creature on the ceiling. Barinade, in my opinion, is the toughest boss in the game. You have to keep moving in this battle. First, lock on to one of its "arms" which are holding onto the ceiling. Keep moving around, avoiding the electrical blasts, and throw your Boomerang at the "arm". When you knock that one off, lock onto another one and so on. When all are knocked off, Barinade begins spinning around the room. Lock on and stun him with your Boomerang. When he is stunned, lock onto each jellyfish and take it out as fast as possible. When all the jellyfish are dead, Barinade begins spinning rapidly around the room. Lock onto him and stun him. When he is stunned, slash him as much as possible with your sword. If your life is low, break the pots around the edge of the room to find recovery hearts. Keep stunning him and slashing him till he dies. Grab the Heart Container and join Princess Ruto in the light. Ruto asks you what you would like for saving her and she will give you the Spiritual Stone of Water! On another note, you become engaged to her too! Now that you have all three stones, head back to Hyrule Castle. You get to the castle at night. The drawbridge lowers and Zelda and Impa take off on a white horse! Zelda tosses something into the moat as they flee the castle. Link turns around to see Ganondorf, the evil character in his dreams! He asks you where the white horse went and Link takes out his sword. Ganondorf shoots a bolt of energy at Link, knocking him to the ground. After this cut scene, dive into the water and get the object that Zelda threw in. You now have the Ocarina of Time...no, not the game! Zelda will teach you the Song of Time telepathically now. Go to the temple of time located in the Market. Once there, stand at the altar and play the Song of Time. The three spiritual stones appear and the door of time opens. Go in there to find the Master Sword! Stand near it and press the "action button" when it says grab. A blue light surrounds you and everything becomes still. Ganondorf laughs and reveals his trick.
