Leave Hyrule Castle Town and head for the castle itself. To get to the castle, walk through the Market towards the blurry image of a castle. Getting into the castle can be tricky if you don't know what you're doing. First you have to wait till night. When it turns to night, walk around till you find Malon, the young girl from the Market. Speak to her again until she gives you an egg. When day breaks, the egg will hatch into a chicken! Climb the vines beside Malon and walk to your left until you're past the main gate. Jump down on the other side and walk forward till you are at the corner. When you're slightly to the right side of the guard near the corner, slowly begin walking up on the grass. If you run, the guard will hear you and you'll have to start outside the gate again. Use C-Up to look around and see their positions. When you're past him, run to the climbable rocks in the distance. Climb them and jump into the castle moat and swim to the other end. Climb out and walk to your left. There, you'll find Talon, the owner of Lon Lon Ranch, sleeping. This is Malon's father. Remember the chicken she gave you? Equip it to one of your C-Buttons and wake him up with it. He'll run away and this allows you to solve a small puzzle here. You must push and pull the two blocks into the water. Take one at a time, pushing them to the end of the groove and into the water. When one is in the water and the other is directly on top, jump up and run and jump across to the other side. Crawl through the small hole here. Now you're in the castle courtyard. All you have to do here is sneak past the guards. Watch their patterns and walk or run past when they cannot see you. After you sneak past all of them, you're finally come face to face with Zelda, Princess of Destiny! On your way out of the castle, you'll be stopped by Impa, Zelda's attendant. She will tell you a little bit about the surrounding area and she will also teach you the first song, Zelda's Lullaby! After this cinema scene, you will be in front of the entrance to the Market. Now you must head to Lon Lon ranch. The ranch is the large building in the middle of the field. Make sure it is daytime when you arrive.
