Hello! Are you getting bored of Zelda? Have you found something interesting in the game that you don't think should be there? Email me and tell me about your glitch. Please read through each glitch thoroughly before doing it because it can mess your game up entirely! Have fun trying them out.
Hovering Link - Contributed by triforce_link@hotmail.com
I have a gameshark and I use 1.2 codes so this glitch may not work
for the other versions. You dont need the gameshark to do this. Do
swordless link trick and get on Epona. Use your ocarina and play Sarias
song. Say no to talk to Saria and also no to talk to Navi. Now you should
be on Epona but Floating above her!!!!! Now if you go into Lon Lon Ranch or
Lake Hylia you wont be on Epona. Also you can do it if you go to Lon Lon
Ranch and use Moon Jump after pressing the ocarina button and B and go
really high and Navi Should say hey. Press c up to talk to her and you can
do it that way too. It is easier the first way but I also did it the second
way one time so I thought I'd include it.
Epona Glitch 2
This glitch is the best! When fighting the Final Boss, Ganon,
he knocks your sword away. Save your game and reset the game. You will start
in Ganon's Tower. Don't equip your sword! Go to Hyrule Field and call
Epona. Jump on you'll be able to use any weapon you want!
Swordless Link - Odyssey of Hyrule
I believe that you were wondering how to use the "C" items while riding epona?!? Well
here is one way that you can do it..... After you beat Gannondorf (final 2 battles),
GANNON will hit the master sword out of your hands (screen 1). After he does this, SAVE
your game, then reset your game.... this will start you at the begining of gannons castle
with NO sword equiped. Now, leave gannons castle and enter hyrule field.... Call epona
and get on the horse. Being that you dont have any sword equipped (screens 2-5), the game
will let you use any item that is able to put into "C".
This totally awesome trick sets up an even better game cheat where Link can hover out of the gaming environment into an endless void beyond. The only way this previous trick works though is if you don't equip the master sword after you restart your game. This is an Odyssey of Hyrule exclusive trick. You will find it no where else, and if you see it on some one else's website it came from here.
Here's some more fun stuff to do that Video Gamer X added to this trick. While on Epona use the Deku Nut. Link will detatch from the horse, and the control stick will control Link and Epona separately. Woah! When you pusht the button to go faster you will mount an invisible horse then appear over epona's back. Even Weirder! Equip Bombs and drop them behind the horse as you ride. If you are at Lake Hylia do the Deku Nut Detachment then go into the water put on the Iron Boots and do not have the Zora Tunic on. Now push "Faster" and you will mount underwater then be on the horse with all the sound effect muffled out of the water and a timer ticking down your doom. If the time runs out Link will die in perfectly good air. There will be a gurlgly sound after you die. Poor guy... Here's another thing if you do the Deku Nut Detachment you can pick up a weed, but when you do you will mount Epona. While link is dismounted he is invincible. Play Saria's Song while dismounted and after you are done talking to her you will be hovering over the horse controlling the horse. This is some wild stuff. Link is mounted in thin air over the horse! Remember how Useless Fayore's Wind was, well now while mounted on Epona equip it and it will work in Hyrule Field or anywhere else you can get Epona to! No lie, this stuff is the S%@#! Remember kiddes you won't see this trick in Expert Gamer, EGM, Nintendo Power, or any other game mag.
Water Temple Glitches - Odyssey of Hyrule
First: Floating Tektites: On the third floor, past the room with the waterfall with moving
platforms on it, there is a room with these dragon heads, tektites, and a crystal. Hit the
crystal to raise the water level. Then, freeze a tektite with your hookshot. Lower the water.
When it unfreezes, the tektite will be floating in midair, frozen in one place, but still
squirming around. Nothing will harm it when it is floating.
Second: Here's a harder trick. Using Farore's wind, you can actually appear on top of a tektite. You won't be able to move at all, and you'll have to reset.
Third: With Farore's wind, place a warp point on a level that can get filled with water. Raise the water to cover it, and use Farore's wind. It'll take you to the entrance of the level.
Wet Hyrule Castle - Odyssey of Hyrule
*You MUST be a kid, of course the castle is not there as an adult!!)
1. Go to the sign that says "Dead End" it is right before where you get Din's Fire.
2. Now at the sign turn to the left and you should see a corner.
3. Go to the coner and try to go up a little. (this may take a couple tries you need to walk at it at the right angle)
4. Now when your there press C-Up and look for the polyline and line it up directly in the middle of the sword icon.
5. Now carefully work your way up the wall slowly or else you will fall and have to start over agian. (This also works in some other places)
6. Once on the grass above where you were head towards the castle, don't get to close beacause the polygon that goes behind the castle is slippery and will make you slide through the gate.
7. Go to the top of the of the hill and slowly work your way behind the castle. (make sure your on top of the polygon or you'll fall)
8. Once on the edge, look to the left and you'll see a stream. Now run as fast as you can towards the stream.
9. At first you should fall but you should end up in some water and swimming towards the surface.
10. Now you are inside the castle, looks great doesn't it?
This is extremely hard for some people so keep trying!
Permanent Ice Keese in the Fire Temple - Odyssey of Hyrule
In the Fire Temple, make it to the room with a fence and climb
up to find some Keese. Take out your Ice Arrows and shoot them, they'll
freeze and NEVER thaw out! You can push them around and everything.
Time Travelling Bugs - Odyssey of Hyrule
With a bottle of bugs, go to the Pedestal of Time, pour the bugs
around the Master Sword, or where it normally lies, and pull/put back
the sword from the stone. The bugs will be in the cut-scene and if you
time it properly, they will also travel through time!
Use Your Sword Under Water!! - Odyssey of Hyrule
Have you ever wanted to use your sword under water? Well, you can!!! The
only downer is that it's a one time thing and you have to use magic. Ok, first, go to Lake
Hylia or another water source where there is a slope. Next, put on the iron boots. You then
charge your sword so that it turns "fire-engulfed" and walk slowly down the slope into the
water. If you "drop" down a level, your sword won't be charged anymore and you'll have
to start over. If you did it right, you'll have a charged sword, and you can release it on any
enemy you encounter. If your hookshot or longshot is equiped, then it will light up, while
the other c-button items are faded, proving that you're underwater.
Get Under the Ice in Zora's Domain!!! - Odyssey of Hyrule
Deserted Gerudo Valley - Odyssey of Hyrule
This trick will cause Gerudo Valley to become completely abandoned! To do this you must
have already beaten Ganondorf. When you get up to Final Ganon, he will knock the
Master Sword from your hands. Immediately save the game and reset it. Now, when you
turn the game on, your green button should be blank. Ride Epona to Gerudo Valley. Go to
the Horesback Archery and pay the woman money to play. Equip your Ocarina and when
you start to ride Epona, press the C-Button you equiped your Ocarina to. You will
automatically dismount Epona. Now press B to stop playing. You can now walk around!
The horse race theme from Lon Lon Ranch will be playing in Gerudo Valley! Also, as you
may notice, all the Gerudos are gone! There is not one guard! Another strange thing is that
if you look at the the entrance to the Haunted Wastelands and the Gerudo Training
Grounds, you will notice the gates aren't there either! If you go into the Gerudo Training
Ground you will end up in some other place.
Windmill Cucco Solved!! - Odyssey of Hyrule
Put on the hover boots. Longshot to the inside of the windmill (the peg in the opening). Go up the
corridor to the cucco. Grab the cucco. Run around the corner of the windmill to the left. Drift
over to the wooden barrier over near the section it bend to the lower area near the rock.
Normally you can't go past here. As soon as you get as far as you can go, press B and hit the
fence. Now, push forward on the control stick. You are now though the wall. This is the lousy
part. There's nothing on the other side. It's just a game glitch, intentional, or not, that's all. Over
all, its a total bummer. If you walk past the woods polygon, you will fall for a long time then be
reset back to the last opening you came out of. If anyone finds anything else on this area let me
know. Well there goes one mystery down, many more to go though.
Infinte Gold Skulltulas
Find a Gold Skulltula and kill it. Hold the Z buton and target
the token don't stop holding that Z button! Now get the token while
holding Z. The game will make the sound that means you got a token,
and the cursor will continue to target the spot where the Skulltula
was.
Deformed Voices - Contributed by Gaming Freak
Go to Lake Hylia and make it so you are about one step away from going
under water. Get out your Ocarina and play the Sun's Song. Quickly get under water.
The voice of the chicken or wolf will sound deranged.
Play your Sword like an Ocarina! Go to a drop off and get a useless item (like a fish in a bottle) and put it on the bottom C button. Then jump off the drop off and push B and the bottom C. If you do it right Link will swing his sword and when he lands the sword will be I his mouth like the ocarina is. It really plays but the pitches are weird. This is very hard to do so if it doesn't work the first time, don't give up.
Running Man Suicide
While you are a child, go to Hyrule Field during the day. If and
when you see the running man, stand a distance in front of where he
is going to run. Then, when he hits you can get anywhere from 3-5
hearts COMPLETELY taken away!
Double Chicken Noise
Go to the Temple of Time as a child. Leave the Temple at night
and go to central area of the market. Play the Sun's Song and you'll
hear TWO Cuccos crow!
Play the Ocarina Without Having it Equipped
While playing Zelda (you must at least have one Ocarina
song), press start and go on the "Quest status" screen , go on a
GREY music note (not a warp note) and play it. While playing that
song (could be Zelda's lulaby or any other grey notes) , hold up on
the analog stick and hold it up. When the song is over , you'll move
off the note and shouldn't have to repeat it. Now press any button
and you should hear your ocarina, press start. Now you can play the
ocarina while fighting or while running around! If you want to stop
this trick , simply take out your Ocarina and play a song.
Sign in Gerudo Valley Glitch I'm sure everyone just loves cutting signs in half. Go to the sign in Gerudo Valley near the edge and at least half of the sign should fall off of the cliff. Like normal, play Zelda's Lullaby. The sign will repair itself, but only partly; half of it will remain missing. Once the song/repair is complete, you will no longer be able to read the sign.
Ghostly Chickens
Go to Kariko village and go up to any cucoo that is wandering around. If you are an adult and don't wanna go back in time, just
use your longshot to get the Cuco in the top of the wind mill. Hit the Cucco until he gets mad and calls his buddies. As soon as the
other cucoos come, head for the well. Once you're at the bottom, you should hear the angry cuccos, and if you look up with
C-UP, you should see a bunch of cucoos coming down the well, but if you look at the floor, there will be no cucoos around. The
magicly disappear!! Good luck getting back up out of the well, by the time you get half way up they'll come and knock you down.
Pot Armor
First, go to the small building in the Desert, which is
where you find the ghost with the Lens of Truth. Now when you fall
into the room, equip the Hover boots then stand on the part of the
floor that is a bit higher then the rest and has the 2 torches and
the treasure chest on it. Look at one of the pots then run to it with
the Hover Boots still equipped. Now, the problem is, you need to
move around, trying to move over the other pot or try "rolling"
exactly before you fall down and land. It may take quite a few tries,
but if you're lucky, the pot will slip through your arms and will
cover Link's entire chest, making it look like he's wearing it.
You can run around and all, but if you press A, then you will throw
the pot off you. There are other places to try this fun glitch at,
so try searching for other places that seem to make this glitch work.
Play your Bow as your Ocarina
First you get a bottle with a fish or a bug, then you go to
a dropoff "like the stairs in Kakariko village". Now you put you bow
on the left c button and the bottle on the down c button. Then you
jump off the dropoff. In the air press the bow and bottle buttons.
Link should pull out the bow and play it. For the best view lose
your shield and don't equip it until later.
Get Epona Stuck Bring Epona to Lake Hylia and to the right of the Lake Labratory, you'll see a Gossip Stone. Ride over to the stone and make your way into the corner behind the stone. If you get in there the right way, you will be stuck! You cannot get off Epona or back up. You'll have to reset the game if you get caught.
Invisible Link
I don't know if anyone else has discovered this, but
I'll tell it anyway. Only people with 2.2 gamesharks can do this. All you
have to do is activate the L button For Levitate code. Then play one of the
warps. After choose OK to warp, hold the L button until after you warp.
There you have it. When I did it with Spirit Temple Warp I walked to the
entrance of the temple. When I pulled out my bow, the screen kinda floated
back over to the warp spot. When I shot my fire arrow I could see an
explosion back at the entrance.I guess you have see it to know what I'm
talking about. I've only done this as adult Link.
Get Navi Stuck!!!!!!!! - Odyssey of Hyrule
Okay, as adult Link, go up to the alter where the three
stones are placed. Read the message about "The Ocarina of Time opened
the door. The Hero of Time, with the Master Sword, descended here"
Approach from the side where Link's back is to the Master Sword
pedastal. Hold Z and lunge onto the pedistal. Now you will be standing
amist the Spiritual Stones. Navi will turn green here. Stand between the
Goron Ruby and the Zora Sapphire and face the Kokiri Emerald. Play Saria's
Song on the Ocarina. Talk to Saria. After you are done walk away and if you
did it right Navi will be stuck or hovering over the Spiritual Stones. The
entire Temple of Time looks much darker now. Before you did this trick you
would not be able to read the inscription for a second time. But after Navi
gets stuck you can read it again once. This is really an odd one. If you
travel back in time, Navi will reappear near you or if you leave the Temple
of Time she will also reappear. Over all I'm placing my bets on it being
another game glitch, but there is the possibility that it leads to
something.
Bottle Glitch
NOTE:Do not save your game after doing this! Go to
a normal fairy fountain where the red fairies dwell. Swing a bottle to catch
one but just before you catch it, press Start and equip another item in place
of the bottle. You will catch a fairy with the item you equiooed instead of
the bottle and it will turn into a bottle! A good item to turn into a bottle
is the Claim Check for the Biggoron's Sword...After you get the sword of
course.
Epona Glitch 1
While riding Epona, try jumping over fences at odd angles. Your
horse may get caught on top of a fence, the game will freeze if you do this
though.
