You cannot avoid being caught by a guard here, Actually you can but it's pretty tough. Let one catch you and you'll be thrown in a dark cell. Use your Longshot to get onto the ledge above and use an arrow to kill the guard below. Jump down and enter the door on the bottom left of the fortress. Inside, you'll find the first carpenter. Talk to him and when he says "Watch Out!", turn around quickly a you'll battle a Gerudo guard. Keep moving around while locked onto her. If she hits you with a Gerudo Spin attack, you'll be put back in the cell. After you defeat her, grab the small key and unlock the door. Talk to the carpenter to save him. Now, exit through the other door here and you'll come out in the middle of the fortress. Enter the door to the left and go down the hallway. Turn right and before you continue, hide behind the crate and get an arrow ready. A Gerudo guard will walk by so hit her with the arrow. Don't continue down the hallway yet! Look around the corner and you'll see two more guards walking back and forth at the other end. Take them out with arrows too. Head down the hallway and break the pots on the table to get more arrows. There are two ramps here, while facing them, take the one on the left. Exit the fortress and go in the door to your left. Here, you'll find the second carpenter. Talk to him, defeat the guard, and save him. When you go out through the other door, you'll step onto a platform with a guard on it. Quickly get around the corner to your right! Look down the edge and take out all three guards on the ground. Jump down and from the center of the fortress, where the crates are, go in the door to the right (near the guard in white...you can't kill her!) You'll find the third carpenter in here. You know the routine...talk to the carpenter, kill the guard, and save the carpenter. Once you save the third one, head outside and get caught by a guard. Hookshot up to the ledge from your cell but don't jump down yet! Instead, jump to the ledge on your left. Enter the door there and take out the guards roaming the hallways. The other hallway may seem like a dead end but it's not! Walk up and use your Longshot on the wooden beams to pull yourself over the stone blockade. Head outside and you'll find yourself on a high ledge with a crate in the corner. Avoid the hole where they throw you into the cell from and break the crate for fifty rupees. Stand at the fence and target the large chest on the left side of the fortress. Longshot over to it and open it to get a Piece of Heart! From here, drop down onto the ledge directly left of the chest. Drop down the next ledge too and you should be on a small platform with one door. Enter the fortress again but don't go any further! Get an arrow ready because a guard will walk right by and catch you if you don't kill here quickly! Head down the hallway to your right, then to your left, and to your right again. You'll find the final carpenter here. Talk to him and defeat the guard. This guard seems to be tougher than the others so be careful! Save the carpenter and a Gerudo will talk to you and comment you on your good thieving skills. She gives you a Gerudo Membership Card which allows you to walk freely throughout the fortress and participate in all activities such as the Horseback Archery and the Gerudo Training Grounds! Have a little fun before heading through the desert. Go up the hill on the right side of the fortress to find the Horseback Archery Course. Call Epona and get on her. Talk to the Gerudo under the cabana and she'll ask if you want to try the archery course. Say yes and pay her. The object of this game is to get as many points as you can with the arrows you are given. Each jar is worth 100 points so try and get them all! On the targets, you can either get 30, 60, or 100 points. If you get at least 1000 points, you'll be given a Piece of Heart! Try again and get at least 1500 points to receive a bigger quiver for your arrows! Head back to the main part of the fortress. Talk to the guard in white and pay her 10 rupees to try the Gerudo Training Grounds out.
