The entrance to the Fire Temple lies deep within Death Mountain Crater. Because of the intense heat in the crater, you must first travel to Goron City and pick up a heat-resistant tunic. When you arrive at Goron City, all of the Gorons, except one, are gone. The only one left is rolling around the city. Set a bomb in front of him to stop him. You can also use your bow and arrow to set the bomb off when he rolls by. When you stop him, go and talk to him. He will tell you that his name is also Link (or whatever you entered your name as). This young Goron is the child of your sworn brother, Darunia. He'll tell you about the Gorons and what has happened to them. Keep talking and asking him questions until he gives you a Goron Tunic. Talk to him again and he will tell you where the secret entrance to the Fire Temple is. Equip the Goron Tunic and head down to Darunia's Chamber. Pull the statue out as far as possible and enter into Death Mountain Crater. The bridge to your right is broken and a Great Fairy Fountain is located behind the dark brown boulder there. A bomb will not break it though....you need the Megaton Hammer. The bridge to the left is broken but use your Hookshot and pull yourself over the gap. Walk forward and Shiek will drop in on you for a minute. He will teach you the Bolero of Fire. Climb down the ladder to the left and enter the Fire Temple.
