descriptions of each enemy in the game, not including the bosses. I have
mentioned their weaknesses so you can kill them without any problems. If

The Deku Baba is a simple enemy to defeat. There are two types...
ones which snap at you when you come near and ones that stand
straight up waiting to be killed. You will find them in Kokiri Forest
and the Deku Tree as a child. They can be found in later dungeons as
an adult. One or two slashes with your sword will kill them.
These golden spiders crawl on walls, they're hidden in trees,
crates, and many other places. Two hits will kill them. Remember to
grab the Gold Coin after killing them.
These creepy spiders crawl on walls, preventing you from climbing
up. You can either kill the with your Boomerang or Slingshot as a
child and with your Hookshot/Longshot, and Bow and Arrow as an adult.
One hit is good enough to kill them.
Deku Scrubs pop out of the ground and shoot deku nuts. Lock on
and reflect a nut back at them with your shield. Then Hit it with
your sword before it gets away. You'll find them in dungeons and
hidden holes.
Giant Skulltulas are found in various places. If they hit you,
you'll be thrown back. One or two slashes will take care of them.
These "baby" versions of Gohma, drop from the ceiling to attack.
Watch out when their eye turns red because they will jump at you and
attack. Two hits will kill them.
During the night, on Hyrule Field, these small skeletons pop out
of the ground and swing their arms at you. They come in pairs so
lock on to one at a time. Two hits with your sword will defeat them.
These "Zelda Classics" are huge. When they come out of the ground,
lock on, avoid the spinning blades, and hit it as much as possible.
Sometimes, it splits into three smaller peahats. Deflect them with
your shield. It takes about 6 good hits to defeat it.
As you make your way up Death Mountain Trail, you'll come across
some Red Tektites. These crab-like creatures hop around and attack
you. One or two hits with your sword will kill them.
Not so much an enemy but an obstacle. These large boulders roll
down Death Mountain Trail. Avoid them or you may be knocked right
off the trail!
Beamos are large enemies which stay in one spot. Their eye moves
around and if it sees you and you are close to it, it will shoot out
a laser beam which tracks you. You'll find them in Dodongo's Cavern
and other dungeons. Lock on and throw a bomb at it. It takes two
bombs to kill a large Beamos.
These small dinosaurs are only found in Dodongo's Cavern. Watch
out for their jump attack. One hit with your sword will kill them.
They explode when they die.
Keese are hard to spot in dark places. They fly through the air
and attack you. Kill all of them in a room to open a door or reveal
a chest. One hit is good enough.
Fire Keese are the same thing but they are flaming. If they
attack you and your Deku Shield is equipped, it will burn up! One
hit will take them out the air.
They ones fly through the air with a blue glow about them. If you
are hit by one, you will be frozen in ice for a few seconds. One hit
will kill it.
These Giant Skeletons come up from the floor and attack. Block
their hits with your sword and strike back when their guard is down.
You cannot block the jump attack, sidestep it if you can. It takes 6
hits to kill them.
Wolfos are howling enemies that rise from the ground and swipe
at you with their claws. One or two hits to their back will defeat
them.
In the Ice Cavern and the Gerudo Training Grounds, you will fight
the White Wolfos. It may be bigger but kill it the same way as you
did with the regular Wolfos.
At Lake Hylia, Zora's Fountain, and the Water Temple, you will
come across Blue Tektites. Hit them once or twice with your sword to
defeat them.
Octoroks are found all over in water. They spit rocks at you.
Deflect the rocks with your shield. One rock reflected back at them
will kill them.
These pain in the butt enemies come out of the ground at the
Desert Collossus and spin around trying to hit you. Avoid them if
you can, two hits with the Master Sword or four hits with the Kokiri
Sword will kill them.
Some Armos statues come to life whe n you touch them. They hop
around trying to hit you. You must bomb it when it is hopping around.
It explodes when it dies so watch out!
The classic Zelda Shield-Eater is back. If it swallows you, it
will take your Goron or Zora Tunic if you are wearing it. It will
also take your Hylian Shield! Kill it quickly. It takes 1 to 3 hits
to kill. It depends on which sword you use.
These are zombie creatures which are found in dark areas. If
they look at you, you will be frozen in time for a couple seconds.
Play the Sun's Song to freeze them for thirty seconds or until you
hit them. It takes 2 to 8 hits to kill them, depending on which
sword you use. If they jump on you, hit the buttons as fast as
possible to free yourself.
These mummy-like enemies will also freeze you. Defeat them to
reveal chests and other hidden things. They take the same number of
hits as the Re-Dead.
While going through the Sacred Forest Meadow as an adult, you
will have to defeat some Moblins. If they see you, they will run at
you an hit you with their spear. Attack when their back is turned.
Just before the Forest Temple, a big Moblin guards the path. It
hits the ground with a giant club that produces a "ground wave."
Avoid it or you'll be tossed back through the air. Try to get behind
him and attack him.
As an adult, the Skull Kids from the Lost Woods attack you. Kill
them and you will get 200 Rupees for each one! Kill them quickly or
they'll disappear.
These annoying birds will dive down and peck at you. One hit
with your sword will take it out of the air.
These ghosts appear and attack by throwing Fireballs at you. Two
hits with your sword will kill them.
Big Poes only appear while riding Epona. When you kill ten of
them and bring them to a person in the Market, you'll get a bottle.
They takes two hits with an arriw to defeat.
Found in the Fire Temple, the Flame Dancer is a tough enemy to
defeat. When it spins, throw a bomb at it. Then, lock on to the
little thing that it turns into and slask it. It dies after about 8
hits.
Found at various places, Business Scrubs are the same as Deku
Scrubs, but, after you defeat them, talk to them and they will offer
certain items for a price.
In the Sacred Forest Meadow, Mad Scrubs protect each corner.
Reflect the nut back at them and then hit them with your sword.
In both the Bottm of the Well and the Shadow Temple, you will
fight a dead hand. When you first see them, let a hand grab you. The
main part of this creature comes up from the ground. Hit it three
times and it go back underground. Repeat that process to kill it.
These bouncing lizards hop around in Dodongo's Cavern. Lock on
to one at a time and kill both. Hit them when their guard is down
and use the Hylian Shield to block their attacks.
Another classic Zelda enemy, Wallmasters live on the ceiling.
They drop down and grab you and bring you back to the beginning of a
temple. Avoid them if you can!
The floor master turns green when it is about to hit you. Block
with your shield. Attack it and kill all three little ones before
they choke you and grow again.
Found in the Ice Cavern, the Freezards blow freezing cold air at
you. The air will freeze you! Three good slashes with sword will
kill them.
Dodongo's are small dinosaurs found in Dodongo's Cavern. You must
get them to swallow a bomb to kill them. If you want, just walk
around them. They explode after they die.
More of an obstacle than an enemy, certain small pots take flight
and try to hit you. Just block them with your shield.
These bubbles found in Jabu-Jabu's Belly bounce float through the
air. Slash them with your sword to pop them. They may release hearts
or Deku Seeds when popped.
Also found in Jabu-Jabu, these jellyfish creatures will shock
you if you hit them with your sword. Use the Boomerang once you have
it.
These are also electrified. After four hits with your Boomerang,
they split into four Biri. Take them out too.
Stingers fly out of the water and attack you, sometimes single,
sometimes in groups. Hit them with your sword.
These weird enemies swing at you and attack. Use your Boomerang
to defeat them.
These can be a serious pain in the butt. Lock on and go near
them. They open up and hop towards you. Hit them with your Hookshot
in the mouth.
These flaming blobs lunge at you if you come too close. Hit them
about four times and they die, leaving a magic jar.
The Iron Knuckle is my personal favorite. Hit these large statues
with any weapon, preferably the arrow. They come to life and swing
their axe at you. One hit takes a lot of your enegy away! Lock on,
use the jump attack, and do backflips to avoid their axe.
In the Water Temple, defeat these spiked balls by hitting them
with your sword or Hookshot, them when the spikes are retracted, hit
them again to kill them.
These are similar to the Beamos. Use Din's Fire or somehow
reflect their own fire back at them to defeat them.
When the green mist dissapates, slash them.
Lock on and use your shield to put out their flame. Then, slash
them to death.
In Death Mountain Crater, Red Bubbles fly out of the lava. One
hit will kill them if you don't want to avoid them.
These ones just spin around. Hit it with your sword when it
stops spinning.
Before getting the Gerudo Memebership Card, the thieves lock you
up. Take them out with your Bow and Arrow.
These guys, found only in Ganon's Castle, are advanced cousins
of the Lizalfos. Defeat them the same way.
