When you enter the Bottom of the Well, crawl through the tunnel to the east. Climb down the ladder and defeat the big Skulltula blocking the hallway. There seems to be no way to get out of here. If you lock onto the skeleton to your left, it will tell you to look for the Eye of Truth. Walk through the wall ahead of you. Believe me...It's fake, I'm not insane! You will be in a room with a small pool of water ahead of you. Walk around the water and in the left corner of the room, there is a pile of garbage. Bomb it and drop down to get some Bombchus. Climb back up the vines. The wall you are standing by is not all real. In the middle, you can walk right through so go through and find yourself in another area with the chest containing the compass in a cell to your left. Do not try to get it yet because there is an invisible hole there. The "X" in the middle marks a false floor, avoid it so you don't fall! To your right, another cell with a small chest. A Skulltula blocks the entrance to this cell. Kill it and get a few rupees from the chest. On the opposite side of the room lies another false wall. Walk through and stand on the Triforce crest in the shallow water. Play Zelda's Lullaby to drain the water. Head back to the beginning and jump in the hole where the water once was. Crawl through the tunnel and kill the Skulltula on the other side. Climb the wall and go through the door to enter the Dead Hand Room. In this room, six hands are sticking out of the round. Go near one and let it grab you. This will lure the monster from the ground. Hit the buttons on the controller rapidly to get away from the dead hand. When the monster comes towards you, it will lower its head to bite you. Slash it three times and it goes back underground. Let the hand grab you again and hit the monster three more times. Repeat this until it des. When it is dead, a chest will appear. Open it to find the Lens of Truth. Now, you can either leave the Gold Skulltula's here for now and head to the Shadow Temple or get them now. If you choose to stay and get the Gold Skulltula's, good luck!
